The word 'Christ' begins with the greek letters 'Chi' ('X') and 'Rho' ('P'), instead of the latin 'CHR'). The words 'XPISTI MILITUM' were also used in one of the most well known Knights Templar seal.
The so called 'Chi Rho' symbol, formed by superimposing these 2 letters 'X' and 'P' (written as '?'), was a significant symbol of Christianity from the time of Constantine.
